Services Description
Wise-finch provides historical heritage tour services in Australia. Our services include guided walking tours, educational experiences, and custom historical research tours focusing on Australian history, Aboriginal heritage, and architectural landmarks.
Booking and Reservations
Booking Process
Tour bookings are made through our website booking form. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us via email. We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.
Pricing
All prices are stated in Australian dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.
Payment
Payment is required in advance of the tour date. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. Payment instructions will be provided in your booking confirmation.
Group Size
We maintain maximum group sizes to ensure quality experiences. If minimum participant numbers are not met, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the tour with full refund.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Customer
- More than 48 hours before tour: Full refund
- 24-48 hours before tour: 50% refund or credit toward future tour
- Less than 24 hours before tour: No refund
Cancellation by Company
We may cancel tours due to insufficient bookings, guide illness, severe weather, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
No-Show Policy
If you fail to attend a booked tour without prior cancellation, no refund will be provided.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
User Conduct
When using our website or participating in our tours, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Behave respectfully toward guides, other participants, and site locations
- Follow guide instructions and safety recommendations
- Not disrupt the tour experience for others
- Respect cultural sites, particularly Aboriginal heritage locations
- Not engage in prohibited activities at tour sites
We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these conduct standards without refund.
Physical Requirements and Health
Many tours involve walking, standing, and navigation of uneven surfaces or stairs. By booking a tour, you confirm that you are physically capable of participating or have informed us of any requirements for accommodation.
If you have health conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely, you must inform us before booking. We will work to provide reasonable accommodations where possible.
Assumption of Risk and Liability
Participation in tours involves inherent risks including but not limited to: walking on uneven surfaces, weather exposure, traffic exposure in urban environments, and general risks associated with group activities.
By participating in a tour, you acknowledge these risks and agree to assume responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage to yourself or your property, except where caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.
We maintain appropriate insurance coverage but are not liable for losses beyond the scope of applicable law.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Wise-finch or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.
Tour Content
Historical information, research materials, and narratives provided during tours represent our intellectual property and original research. Recording tours for commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent.
Photography and Image Rights
During tours, we may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to being photographed and to our use of such images in marketing materials.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
You are welcome to take photographs during tours for personal use, subject to restrictions at specific sites and respect for other participants' privacy.
